Alexandra Eavis, Vice Chair of the techUK Health and Social Care Council, is inviting members to be part of an ambitious new neighbourhood care movement taking shape this summer, kicking off on 12 May at the AAA Leaders Forum, 250 Bishopsgate, London.
Hosted by NatWest, the event marks the publication of ISO 25553: Smart Multigenerational Neighbourhoods, a landmark new international standard designed to help health, care, housing, digital infrastructure and community services come together at neighbourhood level, to support healthier, more connected lives.
techUK is partnering with the Agile Ageing Alliance (AAA), which has led the development of the standard over the past 6 years, opening up an exciting opportunity for members to help shape the next generation of neighbourhood-based innovation across digital health, social care, interoperability, AI, smart infrastructure and local public service transformation.
The AAA Leaders Forum on 12 May is where the conversation moves from vision to action. Bringing together leading experts from finance, health, social care, housing, technology, academia, local government and community organisations, it will explore how ISO 25553 can help create healthier, more connected and more resilient neighbourhoods in practice, through real demonstrators, stronger partnerships and a shared commitment to turning good ideas into lasting impact.
The event will feature Gamechangers, a initiative for innovators with solutions that could improve lives and shape what happens next. It offers a credible route into early testing, strategic partnerships and future investment, and will help lay the groundwork for an innovation sandpit later this year.
The Forum will be followed by a networking reception, giving innovators the opportunity to connect directly with customers, partners and investors. Participation is by invitation only, techUK members interested in getting involved are warmly invited to see the agenda and register their interest.
