techUK is excited to be partnering with The Quantum Daily for this online webinar taking place 23 November 14:00-15:00

Speakers include:

  • Alex Challans, CEO, The Quantum Daily
  • Per Nyberg, Vice President, Strategic Markets and Alliance, Quantum Machines
  • Allison Schwartz, Global Government Relations, D-Wave Systems
  • Deepth Dinesan, Director, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Quantum Computing, NetApp

Increasingly, cloud services are being looked on as the method for providing access to quantum processing, and a new market opportunity between quantum and cloud is beginning to emerge.

With the resources and a large pool of users, cloud providers could be some of the first quantum-as-a-service providers and will look for ways to provide the best access to quantum.

Whether through app development and test environment for developers to simulate quantum environments through standard computing resources, or through access to quantum computers that are currently available, it is imperative to explore how the UK cloud ecosystem and UK quantum ecosystem can work together to help drive forward commercial access in a viable and sustainable way.

In this session, techUK will bring together industry leaders from across quantum and cloud to help raise knowledge and understanding of quantum computing for the wider cloud ecosystem. Specifically, this session will address:

  • What is Quantum-as-a-service, and how will cloud and quantum work together to help improve access to quantum
  • Best practices of current cloud/ quantum partnerships
  • Security concerns and current solutions
  • How can cloud help commercialise quantum in a sustainable way
