techUK’s second annual Tech Policy Leadership Conference will be a day-long in-person event, offering industry, government, regulators, and other stakeholders in tech policy the opportunity to engage on the most important questions surrounding digital regulation. From data policy to online safety, innovation, competition and digital skills, this conference aims to join the dots by bringing together a high-level line-up of speakers and offer participants plenty of opportunity to connect and network.

As Public Affairs Manager, Alice supports techUK’s strategic engagement with Westminster, Whitehall and beyond. She regularly works to engage with ministers, members of the UK’s parliaments and senior civil servants on techUK’s work advocating for the role of technology in the UK’s economy as well as wider society.
Alice joined techUK in 2022. She has experience working at both a political monitoring company, leading on the tech, media and telecoms portfolio there, and also as an account manager in a Westminster-based public affairs agency. She has a degree from the University of Sheffield in Politics and Philosophy.
As Head of Public Affairs, Ed leads techUK’s strategic engagement with Whitehall, Westminster and beyond. He regularly engages government ministers, members of the UK’s parliaments, metropolitan mayors, and senior civil servants on the role of technology in the UK’s economy and society.
Ed joined techUK in 2021. He has a background advising companies, trade associations and public bodies on government relations and public affairs and has worked in the UK, Brussels, Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia. He has a degree from the University of Manchester in politics and languages.
Mary joined techUK in August 2022 as an Events Manager, running the event delivery for our flagship events, such as the techUK Annual Dinner, Defence Ethics Summit, Building the Smarter State etc
Mary is a passionate and experienced events professional who before techUK has worked in various industries, such as event sales, event memberships and sports hospitality. Her previous events role at a membership health organisation, lead her to manage event logistics for multiple training courses, conferences and awards in a national and international capacity.
Dora joined techUK in October 2019 as an Events Assistant, coordinating and delivering our flagship events.
Prior to joining the team, Dora worked as a Senior Events Coordinator at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors at Parliament Square managing conferences and high profile ministerial events.
