The seventh edition of our popular annual State of the Connected Home report will be launched at the techUK offices on Wednesday 14th June 2023.

The report draws conclusions about the UK connected home market based on quantitative research conducted by GfK. We survey a nationally representative sample of 1,000 adults across the UK to ask about their awareness, interest, and ownership of a range of connected or ‘smart’ home products.

Agenda:

2pm - 3pm: Presentation of survey findings by Trevor Godman, GfK

3pm - 4pm: Panel Discussion and Q&A - “Smart Solutions, Savvy Consumers: Embracing Connected Home Tech during a Cost of Living Crisis"

This year we’re particularly interested to see how the cost of living crisis has impacted consumer spending on connected home devices - does low consumer confidence mean reduced investment in the home environment, or are consumers turning to technological solutions to reduce energy bills?

4pm - 5.30pm: Optional Drinks & Networking Reception

This event will be in-person only at the techUK offices – it is free of charge and open to both members and non-members. Please register using the link below and we hope that you’ll join the optional drinks and networking reception after the event.
