techUK welcomes the launch of UK-US trade negotiations

Tomorrow, the United Kingdom and the United States of America will formally start negotiations on a free trade agreement. techUK welcomes the announcement and supports a comprehensive, ambitious agreement with a strong focus on digital trade.

Commenting on tomorrow’s official launch, Julian David, CEO of techUK, said:

The US is a global tech leader and the UK is Europe’s largest digital economy.
