The international digital trade ecosystem is witnessing a radical transformation, enabling industry to dramatically cut the cost, remove unnecessary bureaucracy, and improve transparency and efficiency.  Big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, are just some of the technologies that open up a range of new opportunities for businesses looking to trade across borders. Digitalisation can reduce the cost and complexity of doing business across borders and enable more SMEs to participate in global trade.

We will explore how digital technologies such as cloud computing, AI, IoT, quantum computing and DLT can be leveraged to facilitate international trade. We will also discuss challenges to the adoption of digital solutions in international trade and digitisation of trade documents, and finally look at how modern technologies can make trade more sustainable.

We are looking for member companies to submit 500-700 word insights, covering one of the themes below. You can read our contributor guidelines in more detail here. Blogs will feature on the techUK website and will be promoted via Twitter and LinkedIn
