[OPPORTUNITY] Technology and Smart Cities Trade Mission - Saudi Arabia

Join the virtual Technology & Smart Cities Mission to Saudi Arabia (14-17 Dec)

  • Dates: 14-17 December
  • Deadline for registrations: 29 November
  • Registration: Click here

The mission will build on the success of DIT’s previous trade missions to Saudi Arabia. It offers a number of new market opportunities in which Saudi Arabia is encouraging the adoption of new technologies (e.g. IoT, AI, Cyber, 5G, Cloud, Data management) and advanced Smart Cities initiatives as part of its previously announced transformation plans.

With high demand for digital services, Saudi Arabia hosts the largest ICT market in the region. A number of public and private smart cities initiatives have been launched in the buildings, transport, parking, communications and environmental sectors, including by the Ministry of Municipalities. Giga-projects such as NEOM are also making progress, and an ambitious National Digital Transformation Programme is being implemented.

Required information:

As part of the virtual trade mission, DIT will be organising several workshops throughout the week. Each of the Saudi stakeholders will select 10 UK companies who they will engage with to discuss their technology and how it can be implemented in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

To have a chance of being selected by the Saudi stakeholders, we require all UK companies to complete a business profile on the great.gov website.

You can sign up here: https://www.great.gov.uk/find-a-buyer/.

By completing a business profile, it will enable us to send directly, details of your company to the Saudi stakeholders who will be presenting during the trade mission.

This is also a service that DIT promotes in markets globally, which enables potential buyers of goods and services in other regions to find UK suppliers within specific sectors.

There is no cost to participate in the virtual trade mission.
