Leidos are delighted to sponsor the launch event for the MOD Defence Support Strategy on 10 December 2020. The event featuring Lt Gen Richard Wardlaw, MOD Chief of Defence Logistics and Support, will be co-hosted by Team Defence Information, MOD Strategic Command and techUK.

Leidos is an information technology, engineering, and science solutions and services leader working in the defence, intelligence, national security and civil markets. We are a strategic supplier to the UK Government. 

In the UK, we manage the flagship £6.5bn Logistics Commodities and Services Transformation Programme (LCST) for the Ministry of Defence, implementing technological advancements for one of the world’s foremost military operations whilst generating millions in savings for Government.

Simon Fovargue MBE Chief Executive Leidos UK and Europe is opening the event and will discuss how Leidos is investing in new capabilities such as UK software factories to deliver transformative digital services to customers. In addition to LCST, key sectors already benefitting from digital transformation include a programme to transform the biometrics capabilities for the Home Office, digital services at the border and implementing a new command and control system for the Met Police.

Matt Wiles, Strategic Advisor to Leidos UK and Europe will host the discussion sessions and Damian Alexander CBE, Vice President, MD Logistics Division and Programme Director LCST will offer closing remarks.

Also joining the impressive list of speakers from Leidos will be Lt Gen Darrell Williams (U.S. Army, Ret.), Vice President, Defense Group Logistics at Leidos who will give his observations about parallels with the US.
