Call for contributions: techUK’s Robotics report
techUK is developing a new Robotics and Automation report, building on the findings from techUK’s 2025 Robotics and Automation Sprint Campaign. The six-month campaign explored how the UK can lead on the development, application and commercialisation of Robotics and Automation technologies, bringing together industry, policymakers and stakeholders through workshops, roundtables and thought leadership activity.
We are inviting techUK members and wider industry organisations to contribute case studies and short submissions to be featured in the report.
We are particularly interested in contributions that explore questions such as:
- How Robotics & Automation technologies are being developed, applied or commercialised in real-world settings
- Examples of robotics driving productivity, economic growth, or operational transformation
- Barriers organisations face when deploying or scaling robotics solutions in the UK
- Lessons learned from adoption or implementation that could support wider industry uptake
- What policy, investment, or ecosystem changes could help the UK lead globally in Robotics & Automation technologies
Submission guidelines
To ensure consistency across the report, we ask contributors to provide:
- 150–200 words outlining your case study or perspective
- A clear title for your submission
- One supporting image (e.g. technology in use, deployment example)
- A headshot of the contributor (where applicable)
- Organisation name and contributor role/title
Case studies may focus on technology deployment, innovation, collaboration, research translation, or adoption success stories across any sector involving robotics.
This report will showcase industry expertise and help inform techUK’s ongoing work on robotics, involving engagement with government and stakeholders on robotics policy and adoption.
Please submit your contribution or express interest by contacting Rory Daniels ([email protected]) and Luke Lightowler ([email protected])
We look forward to highlighting the breadth of innovation taking place across the UK robotics ecosystem.
