As the UK government explores making ethnicity and disability pay gap reporting mandatory for large employers, now is the time for the tech sector to have a voice. Tech businesses are already familiar with gender pay gap reporting.
Since April 2018, all UK companies with 250 or more employees are required to publish their gender pay gap. A company’s gender pay gap report is more than the quantitative data. It is a statement of a company’s commitment to its workforce and diversity.
We want to hear from businesses on how ethnicity and disability pay reporting could work, without adding additional burdens on employers.
There will be a presentation on the consultation by a senior speaker from the government's Office for Equality and Opportunity.
This roundtable offers a critical opportunity to shape the future of fair and transparent pay practices across the industry.
