SME Networking Session: Local government

On 14 July, techUK will host a networking session for SMEs supplying or interested in supplying to local government. The event will inform SMEs about the priorities and opportunities within local government and showcase how SMEs have succeeded in supplying to local government and what lessons they have learnt.

Speakers will include:

  • Kit Collingwood, Assistant Director for Digital and Customer Services, Royal Borough of Greenwich
  • Cliff Dean, CIO - ICT Shared Services Manager, North Kesteven & West Lindsey District Council’s
  • Lloyd Johnson, Head of Marketing, Tussell
  • Helen Gerling, Chief Executive Officer, Shaping Cloud
  • Paul Moorby, CEO Founder, Chipside

In this session held at techUK offices, we’ll hear from local government representatives on how they are engaging with suppliers and procuring technology. Tussell will be discussing local government spend on SMEs and where some of the upcoming opportunities might be for SMEs, and SMEs who have had recent success in supplying and working with local government will provide insight into their experiences.

The session also provides SMEs an opportunity to network with fellow SME members to enable peer to peer learning and opportunities for spotting potential collaborations.
