On Thursday 22 May from 10:00-13:00 Plexal will be running a workshop on behalf of the Laboratory for AI Security Research (LASR) on the AI risks to Critical National Infrastructure followed by an optional networking lunch at Plexal, The Press Centre, Here East, 14 East Bay Lane, London, E15 2GW.

The aim of this workshop is to convene stakeholders across Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) to discuss the medium-long terms risks that AI, especially non-LLM AI, poses to the cybersecurity of CNI. In particular, we want to understand how these trends and risks impact specific parts of the UK’s CNI system.

This encompasses both:

  1. Risks from adversarial use of AI to target specific bits of IT and OT infrastructure across the CNI system; and
  2. Risks from integrating AI into parts of CNI, such as balancing platforms in the energy sector.

We are sure this will be an interesting, productive, and insightful discussion. As such, we will be able to share our findings with attendees.
