On Tuesday 17 January, 10:00-11:30, techUK is delighted to be hosting a webinar which will explore the cyber security market in central government. This event is open to all techUK members, however, it will be of particular interest to SMEs interested in supplying cyber security products and services to government departments.

In this briefing, techUK members Stotles will be presenting the data and insights outlined in their report The £22b future of the UK’s cyber security which looked at opportunities for public sector suppliers in this space. We’ll take a look at the current UK cyber security landscape as well as the key government cyber strategies that the UK Government has instituted to improve the nation’s cyber security and resilience, and what the implications of these are for government suppliers. We’ll also delve into trends across central government department buyers of cyber services and solutions, and how to create opportunities and potentially win cyber security contracts.

Attendees will also hear from Crown Commercial Service, who will outline the key frameworks used by buyers to purchase cyber security solutions and how to navigate these. We’ll learn how the Commercial Function is supporting government’s ambition to build a strong foundation of organisational cyber security resilience and to defend as one.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to hear from companies experienced in supplying cyber solutions to this market, touching on topics such as working with partners to deliver a contract. And, after we’ve heard from all our speakers, you’ll be able to put your questions to them.
