Wigan Council has saved £170M in the budget to date due to its agile digital transformation programme which uses the Jadu Digital Platform Lite (eForms and Case Management) as part of its wider digital strategy ‘The Deal’.

At this collaborative open day, Wigan Council discusses how the council is reimagining public services, finding solutions to legacy systems (using it as an opportunity to innovate), and creating a digitally inclusive environment for residents.

The open day is an opportunity to collaborate with other senior leaders in Local Government.

The Open Day will consist of:

  • Introduction to Wigan’s strategy ‘The Deal’ presented by Senior Leaders and Council Members
  • Overview of an agile approach to digital transformation
  • Finding solutions to legacy systems
  • How to create a digitally inclusive community
  • Demonstration of the latest services/use cases implemented at Wigan using Jadu Connect (including damp and mould, member enquiries and highways services)
  • Connected communities workshop
  • Innovation, and what’s next on the digital landscape
  • Networking with other senior digital leaders
  • Q&A session with Wigan’s digital team
