The new College of EU Commissioners started work on 1st December and the ambitious five-year programme set out by new Commission President Ursula von de Leyen has far reaching implications for data centre operators and for the digital technology sector at large. There is much talk of digitisation and of infrastructure development but also of greater control and ownership of digital technology in Europe.
