Last week, techUK convened members for a supplier engagement forum session exploring the findings of the NHS’s recent Electronic Patient Record (EPR) usability survey.
On 8 December techUK hosted the third event in our series of supplier engagement forums with NHSX and NHS Digital looking at frontline digitisation. This session focussed on the first phase of results from NHSX’s first ever national EPR usability survey, which aimed to gather a complete view of how effectively clinical IT systems are supporting healthcare professionals across the NHS.
TPXimpact is working closely with The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) to develop and improve the usability, accessibility and security of local services. They are doing this by working with councils to curate a series of interventions to improve digital maturity and improve council services
techUK were delighted to welcome senior representatives from NHS England (NHSE) and the Department for Health & Social Care (DHSC) to a roundtable discussion with techUK members to discuss the challenges and opportunities surrounding the Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC). This is used by NHS and social care organizations to assess the safety, security, interoperability, and usability of digital health technologies.
In July 2021, NHS Digital and NHSX introduced the Frontline Digitisation programme via a supplier forum held in partnership with techUK. Following the success of the first event, techUK held another session to continue the conversation, this time looking at the Future EPR Architecture programme and new Digital Aspirant Plus Programme.
Since July 2021 techUK have been working with NHSX and NHS Digital on a series of supplier engagement forums looking at the frontline digitisation programme. With NHSX now been absorbed into the Transformation Directorate, engagement will continue via this forum, as well as the newly established EPR working group, in partnership with techUK.
