Last month we were delighted to launch techUK’s new Interoperability in Justice and Public Safety Forum. Previous to 2025, the programme’s focus on Interoperability has been driven by a working group and concerned just policing. Now to accommodate the expansion of the portfolio to criminal justice and emergency services and to welcome in new perspectives, the group has transitioned to a collaborative forum under the leadership of Simon Hall, Coeus Software (Chair) and Robert Leach, R Leach Consulting (Vice-Chair).
techUK welcomed the opportunity to feed into Phase 2 of the Government’s multi-year Spending Review. We recognise the challenging fiscal position that the Government currently faces. However, by doubling down on digitisation of the economy, this is a crucial opportunity to achieve productivity gains, drive higher business investment and growth, and secure the UK’s position as a leader in emerging domestic tech markets.
This week, RUSI Cyber hosted the launch of the Cyber Monitoring Centre (CMC), an independent, non-profit organisation created by the insurance industry to bring greater transparency and clarity to major cyber events.
