About the session

Our final workshop will explore the infrastructure and governance conditions required to support a proportionate, resilient approach to Trusted Research. Where earlier sessions focus on language and practice, this roundtable will turn to system-level needs and market standards.

Possible areas of discussion include:

  • What a sector-operated “signals” service might look like
  • Criteria for “trusted advisors” in research security and assurance
  • The feasibility of a “trust badge” or accreditation model, and how to avoid unintended consequences

This will be a collaborative session focused on mapping possibilities and constraints, recognising the structural and resource pressures facing institutions. Participants will help stress-test concepts and identify where pilots or further consultation may be needed.

Themes may evolve based on insights from earlier sessions.
