This virtual roundtable will bring together technology suppliers, digital leads and commissioners to support the development of minimum capabilities for sensor-based falls prevention and detection technologies in adult social care.

Led by Care City as part of the Digitising Social Care (DiSC) programme, the session will provide a space to test emerging thinking and explore how a shared, practical baseline can meet the needs of different stakeholders across the system.

The discussion will focus on:

Which minimum capabilities matter most for falls prevention technologies

Where tensions arise between supplier, provider and commissioner priorities

How requirements can remain clear, measurable and achievable in practice

The session is part of wider industry engagement to ensure that emerging standards reflect real-world delivery, technical constraints and market realities. Care City is managing the roundtable and has invited a broad range of stakeholders, alongside techUK members.
