techUK is looking to examine the PropTech offering of members and we are looking for member input to better understand the opportunities they see in this sector and where techUK can offer real value.

techUK’s Local Public Services and Smart Infrastructure and Systems already delivers activities across digital planning, citizen engagement and digital infrastructure and asset management.

Previously techUK has worked with the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) on digital planning reform roundtables as well as partner with them to host a Digital Planning & Citizen Engagement Innovation Showcase and provide a market insight event to PropTech companies on how to navigate public sector procurement.

Our Smart Infrastructure and Systems Programme has delivered in partnership a thought leadership piece on breaking the barriers between the built environment and manufacturing by utilising digital twin tools – The Apollo Protocol Project. The programme is also active in areas of energy, water, cities, digital twin, and transport.

PropTech is a broad term and encompasses many pillars, from planning to climate to infrastructure tech. techUK already has a strong offering in many of these pillars but we are now convening a virtual roundtable to seek member feedback on where we can maximise our offering and to better understand the diverse PropTech suppliers we have in membership.

If you are a PropTech company, have an offering in the sector, or/and are looking to grow into this market, please register now to share your views and help shape techUK’s activity in this area going forward.

techUK's Local Public Services Programme provides the forum for local public services to engage with industry to better understand the innovations out there, horizon-scan how the technologies of today and tomorrow can re-imagine local public services and solve some of the most pressing challenges our communities and places face. It also helps connect suppliers with each other, identify new business partnerships to help grow an ever thriving local government ecosystem.
