techUK is delighted to host an exclusive in-person speed mentoring session in partnership with the Shuri Network, bringing together underrepresented NHS digital leaders and industry experts from the tech sector.
This event is designed to foster meaningful connections, mentorship, and knowledge exchange between Shuri Network Digital Fellows and representatives from techUK member organisations. Through a series of short, focused conversations, participants will explore opportunities for collaboration, share insights, and lay the groundwork for long-term partnerships that support diversity and innovation in health and care.
Agenda Highlights:
- 14:30–15:00 | Arrival, registration and welcome
- 15:00–15:15 | Opening remarks: Introduction to the Shuri Network and reflections on techUK’s 10-Year Plan for Health and Social Care
- 15:15–16:15 | Speed mentoring rounds (5–6 x 10-minute rotations)
- 16:15–17:00 | Informal networking
- 17:00–17:15 | Reflections, thank yous and next steps
Participants will receive a printed matching guide and short bios in advance to help guide conversations. Attendees will also have the opportunity to opt into follow-up mentoring activities, such as monthly calls or shadowing opportunities.
