Published in January 2026, the Roadmap for a Modern Digital Government includes a commitment to develop a shared vision for local government technology. As part of this work, the GDS Enterprise Architecture team is creating a common capability model for use across local government. This online workshop will bring together participants to work through the layers of the model and explore whether the current alpha version is practical, usable, and feasible for local government, including how a shared model could support better technology decisions, interoperability, and reuse.
