Georgina works with suppliers that are active or looking to break into the market as well as with local public services to create the conditions for meaningful transformation. techUK regularly bring together local public services and supplier community to horizon scan and explore how the technologies of today and tomorrow can help solve some of the most pressing problems our communities face and improve outcomes for our people and places.

Prior to techUK, Georgina worked for a public policy events company where she managed the policy briefing division and was responsible for generating new ideas for events that would add value to the public sector. Georgina worked across a number of portfolios from education, criminal justice, and health but had a particular interest in public sector transformation and technology. Georgina also led on developing relationships across central and local government.

I am currently the Director of Business Development at Sentinel Partners, a Data and AI specialist SME, where I am actively engaged in navigating the challenges and opportunities that social care organisations encounter. Whether that is understanding the impact of reform, looking for investment, or the move from analogue to digital solutions and services, during my two-decade career I have dedicated myself to harnessing the potential of technology to drive transformation in the public sector.

Prior to working for Sentinel, I was the social care lead at Microsoft where my responsibilities centred on guiding social care leaders to recognise the potential of technology in revolutionising services – radical change with demonstrable benefits. A key focus was the role of technology in creating operational capacity, fostering collaboration, and on data for personalisation and prevention. I played a key role in shaping Microsoft's strategy for ICSes and collaborated with digital startups and SMEs to drive innovation in the sector. Before Microsoft I worked at Accenture, consulting on NHS transformation.

I have a strong network across the sector including DHSC, ADASS, LGA, TSA, CCN and Coram (children’s services). I regularly contribute to policy groups and speak at events in a thought leadership capacity.
