Henry Rex, techUK’s Head of Public Sector presents this month’s techUK podcast looking into the Government’s SME agenda

 

This month’s podcast looks how to improve SME access to the public sector tech market. Our speakers discuss techUK’s recently published report Procuring for Innovation and Growth and explore the experiences of selling to public sector market. Listeners will also hear from Government Small Business Representatives on their view of the future and top tips for SMEs.

Henry Rex talks to Simona Paliulyte, techUK’s Central Government Programme Manager, who presents the findings our Govtech SME Survey. He also interviews Richard Clarke, Director at Fivium and the newly elected SME Vice-Chair of techUK’s Central Government Council, who gives the industry perspective. We also hear from Martin Traynor OBE, the Crown Representative for Small Businesses, who tells us about his priorities for the coming years. And finally Robert Vaughan, SME Champion in the Department for Transport, who shares his experience as an SME Champion in a major Whitehall Department.
