This year’s theme will be ‘going global’ and the event will discuss what’s needed to ensure the West Midlands can go from being crowned the ‘fastest-growing tech sector in the UK’ to an international tech hub that leads the way. To ensure this happens, Birmingham Tech Week is working with a number of strategic sponsors and partners.

The week, which attracts some of the UK’s best-known tech brands and execs from the likes of MicrosoftAmazonGoogle and IBM has quickly become a must-attend tech event for digital leaders and entrepreneurs

Yiannis Maos, the founder and CEO of Birmingham Tech, the organisation responsible for delivering the week, commented:

"The week was founded on encouraging collaboration, celebrating regional success and inspiring people from all walks of life to get into technology. We are really excited about this year’s festival as the region’s tech sector has seen a real transformation and the week will act as a catalyst for future growth.”
