About

techUK launched the first ever Health and Social Care Industry Dinner in Leeds. Following seven successful editions of the dinner in London, we have decided to add an additional dinner to our calendar. The dinner took place at Aspire, Leeds on 28 April 2022.

Leeds was the perfect choice for our first Health and Social Care Industry Dinner outside London. The city is a hub for public-sector health bodies, with large Department for Health and Social Care, NHS England, NHS Digital, Care Quality Commission and Public Health England offices. Europe's largest teaching hospital is also based in Leeds, and it is home to the Yorkshire Cancer Centre, the largest of its kind in Europe.

Our Health and Social Care Industry Dinners provide a forum for industry to come together to have an informal dialogue around the realities of digital transformation and technology in health and social care. The evening included informal networking opportunities with representatives from across the industry. Attendees also heard from Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire and Rob Webster, Chief Executive-Designate for the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership who delivered the keynote speeches at the dinner.
