The public sector can greatly benefit from innovative solutions, but navigating public sector procurement can be daunting for startups and SME businesses.
This session will offer an overview of public sector procurement and help PropTech companies to understand:
- Background to public sector purchasing and how procurement frameworks work
- Guidance for applying onto to G-Cloud 13 (applications opened 9th March 2022)
- How to make the most of frameworks once you’re on them
- Top tips including new procurement regulations changes, current hot topics in PS procurement, anti-slavery, carbon neutral/net zero, anti-slavery, social value
We will also hear some early lessons from the PropTech Engagement Fund and what new opportunities are anticipated with local authorities receiving funding in Round 2.
This session is aimed at tech companies across the housing and planning sectors who would like to work more with local and central government.
