On the 8 and 9 July this year we were delighted to host the Home Office for an industry briefing on their future vision for outsourced services, which is currently being developed through the Future Supplier Services (FSS) team, under the Home Office UK Visas and Immigration Directorate (UKVI), and they are keen to get industry insights and expertise to inform the direction and delivery of the FSS Programme.

With many, high value, contracts coming to an end between now and March 2023, UKVI has established the Future Supplier Service Programme to define Government’s requirement for future outsourced visa services from April 2023 onwards. July's industry briefings provided attendees an insight into the Home Office perspective, an overview of  Visa and Citizenship’s future direction and vision, and how the FSS Programme is developing its high-level commercial requirements. The afternoon session allowed the opportunity for industry to explore and shape the proposed future direction of the programme via a series of roundtable discussions.

Going forward, the Home Office is intending to host an engagement event on Thursday 14 January 2021 from 10:00 - 16:00, to build on the previous supplier engagement events outlined above. The event will update attendees on the high-level requirements and the evolving procurement strategy. The ensuing discussions will provide an opportunity to challenge or validate Visas & Citizenship's thinking and provide an opportunity for industry to share views.

The Home Office view this as the perfect opportunity to shape their method of delivery, to receive feedback from indsustry to help them shape the programme going forward and explore the viability of the approach.

During the event we want to hear from you:

• Constructive insights to challenge or endorse Visa & Citizenship’s emerging vision of future outsourced visa services - based on indsutry understanding of what they can deliver by the time the service moves to live operations
• Insight into the potential for creating a better match between the statement of requirements and industry capabilities
• A view on the proposed procurement strategy

Places on the event are likely to be limited, so if you're keen to help the Home Office shape the FSS Programme of work then make sure you book your place!
