On Friday 10 March (10.00-11.30) techUK is delighted to be hosting HMRC for an online market engagement event for their upcoming PBX Element of Online Calling procurement.

HMRC are seeking to procure the provision of an online end-to-end calling solution. This service complements the Microsoft (MS) Teams toolset, allowing users to make and receive external calls from workstations and individual iPhones.

Key requirements are:

  • Provision of a minimum of 7,000 resilient SIP channels to support PSTN breakout.
  • Active SIP endpoint and Standby SIP endpoint both with capacity for 7,000 concurrent calls.
  • Centralised Call Management Service with Cloud-based Web Portal & Mobile App.
  • Provision of a hosted PBX solution and all related hardware and infrastructure to support an existing estate of roughly 2,000 hardware endpoints.
  • Provision of flexible inclusive call bundles for outgoing and incoming calls, with the ability to restrict permissions for individual user profiles.
  • Ensure that all existing conference and fixed line devices retain ability to connect to the PSTN via the provided hosted PBX.

The purpose of this event is for HMRC to brief suppliers on their business requirements. The team will also aim to address any initial queries via a question and answer session.

Please note that HMRC has identified Crown Commercial Service Framework Network Services 2 (RM3808), Lot 5 – Internet Protocol (IP) telephony as the route to market for this requirement. If you’re on the relevant framework*, make sure to book your place now!

*Suppliers who are not on the framework, but have an interest in potentially partnering with a NS2, Lot 5 supplier on this procurement, are also welcome to join the session. HMRC intends to run a competitive tender to deliver these services.

Register now to attend this event.
