On 13 April techUK’s technology and Innovation programme are excited to kick-off its year-long campaign on Quantum Commercialisation with this hour long webinar focussing on bringing the tech sector to the heart of the UK’s Quantum Future.
Quantum driven technologies, solutions, products and services are expected to bring profound changes to the technology sector itself and will be transformational to areas such as national security, finance, telecommunications, construction and civil engineering. The UK has huge potential to be leaders of Quantum Commercialisation, with efforts by Government, industry and academia and National Quantum Technologies Programme (NQTP) positioning the UK towards developing Quantum technology applications through commercialisation and industrialisation.
However, to fully harness the social and economic benefits of Quantum we need to act now to will bring together the technology sector, key stakeholders, policy makers and the wider business community to create a thriving Quantum market for new products and services.
In this webinar, techUK are bringing together leading voices in UK Quantum sector to discuss the road to Quantum commercialisation, where the UK is on that journey and what the tech sector can do to empower world leading research and development.
More specifically we shall address:
- What does the current UK Quantum ecosystem look like, and how can we utilize previous work to move towards Quantum commercialisation
- What key industries are leading the way with quantum products and services
- How can the UK attract and retain investment in the UK’s Quantum industry
- Positioning quantum within the UK’s wider push of innovation across all nations and regions in the UK.
