techUK Innovation in Rail week #RailTechUK

This week (17-21 October), techUK is running its first Innovation in Rail week.

Technology is central to reforming our railways. As work continues to establish Great British Railways, we are spotlighting innovation and showcasing how we can deliver a first-class rail system.

The themes centre around Great British Railway’s strategic pillars for transformation. However, with so much to say on the role of data and digital specifically, we have dedicated both Thursday and Friday to this area.

1. The role of technology in enhancing the passenger journey

3. Driving efficiencies in infrastructure and utilities

5. Embracing data and digital in rail (part 2)

Get involved with our work

All of techUK’s work is led by our members – keep in touch or get involved with our work on transport and infrastructure by joining our groups.

The Intelligent Mobility and Transport's Group aim is to deliver a digitally-enabled, interoperable, integrated and inclusive transport network that connects people and services with multiple modes of mobility.

The Smart Energy and Utilities Programme provides a strong platform of technological solutions in support of delivering a competitive, dynamic, and flexible market.
