Crown Commercial Services connects with SMEs on technology frameworks

Crown Commercial Services (CCS) recently hosted a highly successful online engagement session, bringing together Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to discuss exciting opportunities within government technology procurement.

The virtual event saw lively participation from businesses currently listed on the Technology Products and Associated Services 2 (TePAS2) Framework, as well as those eager to learn more about joining the upcoming Technology Products and Associated Services 3 (TePAS3) Framework.

The session provided valuable insights into framework potential, understanding future developments, and maximizing the potential for SMEs to deliver innovative technology solutions to the public sector. Here at CCS, we wish to continually reiterate our commitment to supporting the vital role SMEs play in the UK's digital landscape.

Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the importance of direct engagement and collaborative discussions between CCS and the SME community. This initiative underscores CCS's dedication to making procurement more accessible and beneficial for businesses of all sizes.

Shaping the future of tech: successful pre-market engagement for TePAS3

Crown Commercial Services (CCS) has taken a significant step toward defining the next generation of technology procurement by hosting a series of pre-market engagement sessions for the upcoming Technology Products and Associated Services 3 (TePAS3) framework. These sessions serve as a critical forum for collaboration, allowing the public sector to signal its future requirements while giving the industry a head start on understanding the scope of this major upcoming agreement.

The primary goal of this early engagement was to ensure that TePAS3 is built on a foundation of real-world expertise and market capability. By consulting with the market well in advance of the formal tender, CCS is ensuring that the new framework remains agile, addresses emerging technology trends, and prioritises adding value to the nation. The sessions have provided a platform for potential bidders to ask technical questions, offer feedback on lot structures, and gain clarity on how TePAS3 will evolve from its predecessor to meet the high-density demands of modern public sector tech.

For businesses looking to join the framework, these sessions represented a "success story" in transparency. They offered a clear roadmap for the transition from TePAS2 to TePAS3, ensuring that the supplier base is well-prepared and diverse and that they fully understand how to meet the needs of the public sector customers. This proactive approach by CCS reinforces their commitment to a competitive, healthy marketplace that delivers the best possible value for the public while fostering innovation across the UK technology sector.
