Calling all UK Cyber SMEs: Government wants to hear your views!

A chance to share your experiences on entering and operating in developing foreign markets; and to have your say on the measures required to better support UK Cyber SMEs in these markets.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Department for International Trade (DIT) are seeking to understand the barriers that UK Cyber SMEs face on entering and operating in developing foreign markets, and what measures are required to better support UK Cyber SMEs in these markets.

The work is being carried out by the ACE capability within the Home Office Homeland Security Group on behalf of the FCDO and the DIT and is focusing particularly on the Digital Access Programme countries: Brazil, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. However, experience in similar and neighbouring countries is also of interest.

As part of this work, ACE is seeking to gather the thoughts and opinions of UK Cyber SMEs directly through a short survey as this will be the most effective way to identify both barriers and potential solutions. ACE would greatly appreciate if you could take few minutes of your time to complete this survey. In order to support your response, ACE has provided survey support material (see below) with a summary of its findings to date which focus on the market opportunity, cyber awareness and common barriers and opportunities in each of the target markets.
