Meeting space and member area

Free central London meeting space for members

techUK's conference facilities comprise of fully serviced, WiFi enabled, air-conditioned meeting rooms in central London with easy access to all mainline stations and just a few minutes away from the city.

The conference rooms vary in size and can accommodate from 8 to 120 people, with a separate networking area for refreshments and lunches. techUK members are entitled to use some of these facilities free of charge up to a maximum of four half days a year and can benefit from very competitive rates for additional use.

Please note that the techUK offices are currently closed due to COVID-19. As a result our usual meeting room service and members area is not currently available. We apologise for the inconvience and will be sure to update members of any changes to this.

Access to finance

techUK helps it’s SME members navigate the myriad of finance and funding options by providing information and guidance. Throughout the year, we run free workshops around VC funding, angel investment, grants, IP, R&D and more.

Manager, Business Development and Customer Relationships

Ruchika is the Business Development and Customer Relationship Manager at techUK.

Ruchika develops techUK's Business Services offerings. She also co-ordinates with our professional services groups for regular news and events for the Marketing and Sales Group and Legal Affairs Group.  

Prior to joining the Business Services team she worked as Managing partner for Bitwise Infosystems and Senior Sales Manager for Digital Convergence Technologies in India

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading and writing short stories.

Ed Bevan

Head of SME Engagement, techUK

Ed is Head of SME Engagement and is responsible for shaping techUK’s proposition to our SMEs across the country, ensuring our policy work, market access activity and services benefit the SME community.

Prior to working at techUK, Ed worked in the at the Department for International Trade, engaging with a variety of businesses, particularly SMEs, to understand the benefits of Free Trade Agreements and act as case studies in press and social media. Ed has also worked in policy and public affairs within the voluntary sector, namely the Alzheimer’s Society and the Men’s Health Forum.

Ed holds a MA in International Relations from Leiden University, and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his son, travelling, and visiting historical sites.
