The Northern Ambulance Alliance (NAA) is a partnership between the four northern Ambulance Services. One of the key areas of NAA work is the Future Fleet Management System Project, involving North East and Yorkshire Ambulance Services.

The aim of the project is to procure a Fleet Management System for introduction into some or all of the NAA Trust s in early 2024.  Specific requirements are being developed, however it is envisaged that the Fleet Management System will comprise a range of functions including but not limited to:

  • Vehicle maintenance management and planning
  • Vehicle leasing and ordering,
  • Accident reporting and management,
  • Fuel management
  • Parts ordering and Invoicing.
  • The ability to export data to support dashboard requirements.

As part of the development of the Full Business Case, we will be holding an industry day in May, which will allow potential suppliers to present their ideas and solutions to the NAA.

This will be preceded by a short initial briefing from the NAA team on 5 April 23. If you’re interested in participating in the industry day, please register for this initial briefing, which will provide an overview of the project and the opportunity to ask questions.

After the briefing, participants will be invited to express an interest in presenting at the industry day on 3 May 2023. The industry day will be followed by a request for indicative costs to inform the Business Case.
