A briefing on the Army in the Digital Age with Colonel Andrew Percival and Colonel Alistair Houldsworth.

Army Headquarters last briefed the scope of its Land Cyber Programme in early 2020. Since, two major announcement have occurred; the Integrated Operating Concept and the Integrated Review including the Army’s Future Soldier paper.  There has been a significant investment to support the narrative of an increasingly active and capable land domain both in traditional warfighting and more routinely in conducting sub-threshold operations. It has high expectations for a new range of cyber and electromagnetic capabilities that cater for varied, less predictable missions and scenarios.  Army Headquarters and the Field Army will reflect on the importance of these recent changes and the progress already made as well outlining near term opportunities to deliver the Integrated Operating Concept in the virtual domain – sub threshold and Warfighting and how these present very different capability challenges.
