As the newly appointed Information Commissioner, John Edwards arrives at a crucial and exciting time for Information rights in the UK.
The ICO has launched a series of listening events across the UK, designed to gain insights that will inform John Edwards' approach as Information Commissioner. The ICO invites techUK members to attend this hybrid event at the techUK offices, so the Commissioner can hear your views. This discussion will likely include:
- What are some of the challenges businesses face when implementing the data protection regime?
- How can the ICO improve its services for citizens as well as businesses?
- Where can businesses and the ICO work together more effectively?
This is a hybrid event with limited in-person tickets. For those attending in person, there will be an opportunity to network at the techUK offices.
