Home Office DDaT Supplier Briefing: PPPT Strategic Delivery Partner Services
10.30am – 12pm6 October 2021
On the 6 October from 10:30 - 12:00 we are delighted to be hosting the Home Office Police & Public Protection (PPPT) team for an industry briefing on the outline requirements for Strategic Delivery Partner Services and their upcoming procurement.
PPPT is primarily responsible for the design, build and deployment of national law enforcement systems. Home Office PPPT ensure that they are highly effective, efficient systems which leverage modern digital technologies and provide world-class law enforcement capabilities.
This planned procurement is an important element of the PPPT Strategy in moving to a more Product Centric Delivery approach and is imperative to ensure efficiency, effectiveness & capacity in the timely delivery of various PPPT programmes and projects.
Services in scope are those that include the skills and capability required to discover, design, build and run PPPT requirements.
Subject to confirmation via formal procurement, this award may potentially be for a total of 5 years for the provision of Services as above for the delivery of requirements that are as yet unknown and will emerge over the term, but are in the scope of the PPPT portfolio.
Please note this procurement is being run via TS3 Lot 4.
Separately but directly related, the Home Office PPPT team also intends to run a follow-up Supplier Day within 2-3 weeks to focus on the following:
Aligned with Home Office Social Value objectives, we will seek to engage, in this follow up Supplier Day, with the wider marketplace to include SMEs and VCSE organisations.
The requirements for Strategic Delivery Partner Services are highly likely to draw of specialist skills within the marketplace. Whilst we appreciate these are not exclusively delivered by SMEs or VCSEs, we expect a successful outcome of this procurement would be ability to demonstrate a wider value supply chain, managed by a prime supplier.
As the SMEs and VCSEs typically do not sit on the CCS Framework / Lot that we plan to use, a requirement is that these organisations reach out to those suppliers on the CCS Framework / Lot to start to develop relationships that will flow though into any subsequent tender submission.
We anticipate, through a clearly set out evaluation process, that the successful Supplier would be able to clearly demonstrate a wider value / supply chain ecosystem to deliver Strategic Delivery Partner Services.
This will be a hybrid event taking place both at the techUK office (10 St Bride Street, London EC4A 4AD) and via Microsoft Teams. The attendance at our office is limited to 50 attendees and strictly limited to 1 attendee per supplier organisation. There is no limit to how many can attend the same event, via Teams. Please select the relevant ticket when booking your place.
The aim of this event is to provide industry with early visibility of this key service, introduce the services requirements, and outline the procurement process. If this sounds like something you're interested in, and you're on the relevant framework (TS3, Lot 4) make sure to book your place now!
Please note: The Home Office reserves the right to withdraw any Pin Notice and proceeding procurement at any time without notice.
