Digital technologies have changed how business is done and the ways in which they operate. Increased productivity from digital adoption across industries has boosted economic growth, created jobs, and supported higher wages. The investment provided by the UK Government, notably, Help to Grow: Digital has and is enabling more businesses to adopt tools to grow and thrive. But SMEs still face barriers to fully utilise digital technology, particularly in certain parts of the country and in different sectors.

As part of its purpose to knock down barriers so everyone can thrive, Sage is set to publish its landmark Digital Britain report providing a unique insight into how technology is boosting SME growth across the UK in key sectors. By diving into 10 different locations around the country, the report uncovers new insight around the drivers of adopting technology to improve business performance and the barriers holding SMEs back from future growth.

This event, hosted by Ben Everitt MP will discuss some of the key themes of the Digital Britain report and highlight the importance of enterprise and digital adoption to levelling up and the future success of the economy.
