On Wednesday 26 October (10.00-11.30), techUK is delighted to be hosting a roundtable with DCMS on enterprise IoT and connected device security.

Over the past year, and in close collaboration with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), DCMS has been conducting a review into enterprise IoT or enterprise connected devices, such as office printers, office cameras and room booking systems. These network-connected devices are used within the daily operation of thousands of organisations around the UK and we are aware of significant concerns about the security of these products.

These potentially vulnerable devices can provide a route for hostile actors to attack enterprise systems. As well as presenting a threat to individual users and corporate networks, these devices can also represent a large-scale strategic risk to the overall digital environment.

This hybrid roundtable is being held to gather views on:

1. DCMS's work on Enterprise Connected Devices

2. NCSC's Device Security Principles for Enterprise Connected Devices

3. The future direction that this work should take.

If you have the relevant background, expertise and would like to join us for this session (either in-person at the techUK office or virtually), book your place now.
