techUK has been working closely with Government to understand the implications for digital trade in the wake of our departure from the European Union; as well as on the specific digital chapters of the trade agreements themselves. But, what are the opportunities for the cyber sector as we move into this new trade era?

We are delighted to invite techUK members along to this timely Roundtable with DCMS’s Cyber Security and Digital Identity Directorate to further explore cyber trade and Future Trade Agreements beyond the EU.

This session will help DCMS and the Department for International Trade to delve further into the wider implications of these FTAs with techUK’s members, in order to understand what the possibilities are for the UK cyber sector and how cyber businesses can take advantage of these.

Agenda:

  • Welcome and introduction – Dan Patefield, Head of Cyber & National Security, techUK
  • FTA Briefing – Department for International Trade/Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
  • Q&A and comments from techUK members
