Join Matthew Cain, former Deputy Director and now, newly announced Chief Digital and Information Officer, CPS and techUK members for an in-person roundtable at techUK's Offices, 10 St Bride Street.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) are developing a set of standards and practices for how they want to do software development at the CPS and want to engage with the market before adopting these as standards. The purpose of doing this is to:

  • Reflect the latest thinking in best practice
  • Be aware of any areas where they might be requiring something that increases the cost of working with the CPS
  • Identify any areas which might decrease the prospective market of suppliers

Prior to the event, the CPS will circulate an early draft of their thinking which must be reviewed ahead of attending the session. The aim is to have a structured discussion around 4-5 key elements which includes, security, testing and infrastructure.

Following the session, attendees will be invited to send any follow-up feedback that suppliers might feel it’s too commercially sensitive to share.

Please note, this session is aimed at businesses that would work with the CPS to build software, rather than vendors of existing solutions.
