The Belt and Road Summit is a premier international platform for promoting business collaboration along the Belt and Road. The Summit gathers senior government officials and business leaders from countries and regions along and beyond the Belt and Road to exchange insights on multilateral cooperation and explore concrete business opportunities.
The upcoming Belt and Road Summit, organised by the HKTDC and the HKSAR Government, will be held in a combination of virtual and physical format, in which the Business Matching and Project Pitching sessions will be conducted virtually via online platform and webinar means.

Business Matching opportunities during Belt and Road Summit:
To increase flexibility on virtual business matching meetings across time zones, Business Matching will be extended to a 2.5 day activity.

Concurrently, four Project Pitching Sessions will also recur on 30 Nov - 1 Dec to feature prominent projects from sectors of:

- Urban Development (town/city planning, real estate)
- Technology and Innovation (smart city technologies, health-tech, med-tech, bio-tech, building and construction tech)

Project Presenters:
All Summit participants will be eligible to apply for online project pitching presentation. Selected project presenters will be entitled to the following:
- 10-minute speaking slot at the Project Pitching Session (via online and webinar style)
- Pre-arranged two (2) to three (3) Business Matching meetings in the Summit
- Project presenter to be featured on Summit website
- Project presentation to be featured on Belt and Road Portal website
The following portfolios we have found are particularly well sought after:
- Medical/health-tech and healthcare projects
- Projects from local prominent project owners
- Promising projects with high level of publicity or government endorsement
- Projects involving the country’s major developments (e.g. Thailand’s EEC development)
