Tussell Tech200 list: The Public Sector’s Tech High Risers

techUK is delighted to be partnering with Tussell on their latest initiative, the Tech200 list. The list is a ranking of the 200 fastest growing technology companies in the UK public sector from FY 2019/20 to FY 2020/21, based on Tussell’s data on UK government spending.

It is a purely fact-based, unbiased analysis and Tussell want to use the data to tell the stories of what is happening in public sector tech. The list will be run annually to highlight the most interesting up-and-coming firms.

One initial observation that has come from the Tech200 is the importance of the public sector ecosystem and the fact that the technology scene is not the traditional hierarchical market you might see in other industries. The vast number of firms on the list including advisors, experts, specialists, resellers, and managed service providers highlights the fact that there is a thriving role for these firms, in building the network of technologies and solutions that are so vital to transforming public services.
