Call for blogs: Digital Transformation in the Public Sector Week 2024 #techUKDigitalPS
We will be exploring the role the technology industry is playing to support digital transformation in the public sector. #techUKDigitalPS
A different theme has been assigned to each day of the week, and we want to hear thoughts from both SMEs and large companies their visions for effective digital transformation of the public sector and the emerging technologies and innovations that will make it work – focusing on themes such as overcoming Legacy IT and AI adoption in the public sector. We will also explore the importance of collaboration between Government and Industry.
How to get involved:
This is an opportunity for our members and stakeholders to look in-depth at the vital, innovative role they can play, and what the next leap in digital transformation in the public sector might look like.
The themes for the week are listed below:
Small but Mighty – Highlighting the innovative nature of SMEs and how transformative public services can be delivered with SME support
Overcoming Legacy IT – How industry can support government in overcoming Legacy IT to increase efficiency and take advantage of emerging technologies
AI adoption in the public sector – How industry can support government in implementing AI safely and securely to maximise the opportunities presented by AI adoption
Better Together – The importance of collaboration between Government and Industry
Maximising Value – How the tech sector is helping the government create lasting value in public services, through both direct projects and social value
