Join techUK’s Justice and Emergency Services Management Committee

Nominations are now open for the Justice and Emergency Services Management Committee (JESMC)!

Are you an industry leader in either the justice or blue lights space? We want to hear from you!

The JESMC brings together 20 representatives from techUK member companies to provide strategic direction and leadership to the justice and emergency services programme (JES).

The JES programme provides a forum for justice and public safety stakeholders, from national policing bodies and local forces to fire and rescue, and the justice system, opportunities to collaborate with members and stakeholders to understand the latest innovations, problem-solve and develop networks. The programme creates a voice for members active in this market and champions the role technology plays in supporting the delivery of public safety services.

Members contribute their expertise to techUK  event planning, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration initiatives, helping industry address the key challenges in supporting the Government’s Safer Streets mission.

As a part of the Committee, members help shape programme priorities and activities over a two-year tenure, ensuring they reflect industry needs and represent the voice of the JES community. This includes oversight in the following areas:

  • Driving thought leadership to create a more informed and collaborative sector.
  • Building a dynamic justice, blue light and fire ecosystem through fostering partnerships and networks.
  • Creating opportunities for meaningful engagement between the public and private sectors.

SME inclusion

There are 20 spaces on the JESMC, with one Chair and one Vice Chair position available for election by the newly formed committee.

At least six spaces are reserved for Small to Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) representatives.

techUK is committed to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion across our leadership bodies, and encourage members to put forward diverse representatives that will bring a range of views and experiences to the committee.
