Join us for a practical session exploring recent developments in AI assurance for investment decisions and exit strategies. Over the last year, the depth and sophistication of AI insurance, assurance and procurement processes have all progressed meaningfully and offer useful insights and intelligence for investors. As AI becomes increasingly embedded in business operations, investors are using frameworks to better evaluate AI-related liabilities and responsible AI development.

What the session will cover 

  • How AI assurance practices help investors assess the reliability, safety, and compliance of AI systems within portfolio companies 
  • Key considerations including model governance, data quality, algorithmic transparency, and regulatory alignment 
  • How AI assurance impacts valuations and investment outcomes 
  • Practical guidance on evaluating AI maturity, identifying red flags, and ensuring sustainable investment growth 

This session will hear from experts in evaluating the quality and rigour of AI systems, as well as how AI risk and liability can accrue and its relevance for investment outcomes. The panel will be followed by a participatory workshop to identify practical learnings for investors and is held in partnership with Conversations on AI, Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) and the CFA Society of the UK (CFA UK).  

Network with fellow investors and industry experts while gaining practical insights into evaluating AI maturity, identifying red flags, and ensuring your investments are positioned for sustainable growth in an AI-driven landscape.
