Join Landmark Information Group and Ordnance Survey for a webinar exploring the National Geographic Database (NGD) and how it is reshaping the way utility providers plan, operate and futureproof their networks.

The session will give a clear, practical explanation of the NGD, highlight the benefits of richer and more current OS data, and outline what utilities should be doing now to prepare for a smooth migration.

About the NGD

The Ordnance Survey National Geographic Database (NGD) is OS’s nextgeneration geospatial data platform, replacing products such as OS MasterMap Topography and AddressBase. It offers richer attribution, a consistent schema across themes, and more frequent updates to support modern, datadriven use of location information.

You’ll learn:

➡️ What the NGD is and why it matters for utilities
➡️ How richer, more current OS data can support better decisionmaking
➡️ What to prioritise now to prepare for migration

To help organisations understand what’s changing and what it means in practice, we’ve teamed up with Robert Wingfield, Senior Geospatial Consultant at Ordnance Survey. He’ll be joined by Vickie White and Giles Martin from Landmark Information Group to provide a clear, practical overview of the NGD and how to get ready for the transition.
