UK-Japan Tech Forum
techUK's UK-Japan Tech Forum is a platform for collaboration between the technology sectors of the UK and Japan, run jointly with the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA). It brings industry and government from both countries together to look for ways to work together on technology and innovation, and to strengthen the relationship between the two countries. The forum's work covers digital trade, data, emerging technologies such as AI, supply chain resilience, and the wider policy and regulatory frameworks behind them.
Through regular meetings, an annual flagship forum, and joint policy statements and papers, members can shape the priorities for UK-Japan digital cooperation. They also get direct access to officials on both sides and can build links with Japanese industry peers. For any techUK member that is active in Japan, or thinking about the Japanese market, the forum is a practical way to keep up with developments, have a say in policy and find new partners.
