Trade and Customs Compliance Group

Member Only

Our Trade & Customs Compliance Group helps our members to stay informed and compliant with the latest legislative changes in export controls and sanctions. Comprising primarily trade compliance specialists from large companies, the group focuses on several key areas: export controls, sanctions policies, border digitization and enhancement, and guidance on navigating export licensing applications.

We maintain strong connections with our affiliate members in the legal sector and regularly engage with key government bodies, including the Export Control Joint Unit (ECJU), the Office for Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI), the new Office for Trade Sanctions Implementation (OTSI), and HM Revenue & Customs. Additionally, our group actively contributes to government consultations on export controls policies and played a significant role in shaping the technology sanctions against Russia in 2022.
